*CONDITIONS: Jobs MUST be printed by Sterling Business Forms, Inc. If jobs are cancelled after composition and/or proofs have been made, customer is responsible for full cost of such services. Comp will be charged at $50/hr and PDF proofs will be charged at $10/pdf proof sent. **EXCEPTIONS: Custom logos and custom void pantographs do not apply and will be charged at the normal rate. Press and printed proofs not included and will be subject to standard charges.

File Submission Guidelines

When submitting artwork files, please send them to graphics@sbfnet.com. (This email address is only for file submissions. Questions, concerns, etc. will not be seen or responded to from this mailbox.)
Please include your PO Number in the subject line of your email so that we can easily locate your file. Before submitting your file to print, ensure that it is “print-ready”. See below to assist in the formatting of your file to avoid any unnecessary delays.

ACCEPTED FILE FORMATS

PDF format is highly recommended (saved at Press Quality).
We also accept .ai and .eps files.
(Make sure all images are embedded with a minimum of 300 dpi.)
We may accept Microsoft Word/Excel files.
(Due to file formatting during conversion a PDF proof may be required for your approval.)
If submitting .jpg or .png files for logos, ensure they are high quality.
(min 300 dpi)
No other file formats will be accepted.

OVERALL SIZE & BLEED

All files must be set up to the correct final size.
(This will minimize delays in job production.)
If your form bleeds, please include this in your artwork.
(Standard bleed is 1/16”.)
Make sure your file has Lock Up! If your form does not bleed, then there should be a minimum of 3/16” margin around the edges. (1/4" is recommended) There are a few exceptions to this. Ask a member of our support team if you are unsure.

FONTS & COLOR PROFILES

ALL fonts must be embedded or included when file is submitted.
Files must be formatted with the correct color profile.
For all black printing, files should be formatted and submitted in black ONLY.
For 2-4 color printing, files should include PANTONE PMS colors.
For Full Color Digital or 4CP printing, files should be submitted in CMYK. (If files are submitted with spot colors, color density and shading may be altered when converted or printed.)
